The victory saw Celtic leapfrog over Rangers in the goal difference and climb to the top of the league table, albeit for a single day. However manager Neil Lennon will be delighted with his side’s performance and will be hoping for more of the same when they take on St Mirren this weekend.

Having finished in a comfortable position in the last few seasons, St Mirren have been disappointing so far and find themselves at the foot of the table with just two wins from their first 11 games.
