However Smith believes his side has put the event behind them and is now ready to challenge for honors in the league. The Gers take on PSV in the Europa League on Thursday before facing up to Kilmarnock.

Killie on the other hand are seven points off the third spot on the league table and are battling hard to make it to the top three this season. They will hope to take advantage of a tired Rangers side this weekend and collect all three points from this tie.
