The Gers did not play last weekend as their match against Dundee United was postponed due to heavy snow and manager Walter Smith will be delighted that Celtic failed to take advantage of their non participation by dropping two points.

Rangers continue to enjoy a two point lead at the top of the table and do have a game in hand. Smith will be keen to make sure that there are no slipups from his side when they welcome an in form Hearts side that has won its last four games without conceding a goal.

Hearts too have enjoyed the week off with their match against Motherwell also postponed and coach Jim Jefferies will be optimistic that the time off will provide them with a good chance of improving on their narrow defeat to Rangers from early this season.
