Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee could find himself out of job before the end of this weekend when his side takes on defending champions Rangers in their next SPL match on Saturday. Watch all the live SPL action here on Live Sport Network.

The Dons suffered the heaviest defeat in the history of the SPL as they were thrashed 9-0 by Celtic last weekend. Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes grabbed hat tricks for Celtic while goals from Joe Ledley, Patrick McCourt and an own goal by Josh Magennis rounded up the scoring chart.

The defeat increased the pressure on McGhee whose future with the club is under speculation after a poor return of just four points from a possible 27. However the Dons’ boss reiterated that he has no intention of quitting and claimed that he had the backing of the board even after the record defeat.

Meanwhile Rangers will be keen to emulate their title rivals and collect comfortable three points from the game. The Gers managed to hold on to their place at the top of the table with a comfortable 3-1 win over St Mirren.
