The Gers missed a great chance of landing a potentially fatal blow to Celtic’s hopes of winning the league title after managing to collect just one point in the Old Firm derby last weekend.

The result could have been even worse had Allan McGregor not been at the top of his form with the Rangers keeper pulling off a string of excellent saves to deny Celtic. The Bhoys though will be disappointed not to have walked away with all three points with Georgios Samaras missing the best chance of the match after failing to convert from the penalty spot.
