The Bhoys have managed to remain in touch with Rangers at the top of the table with both the teams winning their first six games of the season. Celtic were made to work hard for their victory at home to Hibernian last weekend with Hibs coming close to snatching a point.

The hosts had taken an early lead through Scott Brown and Glenn Loovens doubled the lead six minutes into the second half. However Hibernian fought back to reduce the deficit through Derek Riordan and came very close to snatching an equalizer late in the game.

Meanwhile Hamilton boss Billy Reid will be hopeful of avoiding another defeat to Celtic with the club losing the last nine meetings between the two sides including all three games last season.
