The Bhoys registered the biggest win in the history of the competition as they thrashed Aberdeen 9-0 at Celtic Park. Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes both grabbed hat tricks as Celtic bounced back from their disappointing defeat to arch rivals Rangers to secure a thumping win over the relegation battlers.

However Neil Lennon’s side will meet a different Aberdeen side this weekend with the Dons improving under Craig Brown to climb to ninth in the league table. Aberdeen are unbeaten in their last four games, winning three in the process and will be confident of coming away from Celtic Park with at least a point from the game.

Celtic on the other hand will be aware that another slip up this weekend could hand the initiative straight back to Rangers who are just five points behind with three games in hand over their title rivals.
