The Bhoys went into their last match against Inverness three points behind defending champions Rangers and slipped further in the title race after being held to a disappointing draw. Goals from Ki Sung-Yueng and Patrick McCourt looked to have set Celtic on course for a comfortable victory but Inverness fought back to score two goals in space of 15 minutes to collect a well deserved point from the game.

The draw means Celtic remain two points behind Rangers who also have a game in hand after their SPL clash against Dundee United was postponed due to heavy snowfall.

Aberdeen will be keen to take advantage of Celtic’s slump in form to collect at least a point from the game as they look to pull away from the relegation zone.
