The Dons have lost both their games against Celtic so far though their most recent defeat last week ended in a more respectable manner than their 9-0 thrashing back in November.

Brown’s appointment seems to have been an inspired choice with Aberdeen showing a vast improvement in form, winning four of their last six games to pull 10 points clear off the relegation zone.

Celtic on the other hand continue to remain at the top of the league table courtesy of their five point lead over Rangers. The Bhoys go into the match on the back of an excellent attacking display against Hearts last week as a brace by Anthony Stokes helped them cruise to a comfortable 4-0 win.
