Wolves will be looking to maintain their excellent start to the new season by registering their second victory in three games when they welcome Newcastle United in their next Premier League encounter on Saturday. Tipped to be one of the teams struggling against relegation this season, Wolves have collected four points from their opening two games which includes a well deserved point away to Everton last weekend. The Toffees seemed to be heading towards a comfortable victory after Tim Cahill opened the scoring two minutes before the half time whistle only for Sylvan Ebanks-Blake to rescue a point for Wolves late in the 75th minute.

Manager Mick McCarthy will be pleased with his side’s start to the season and will be hopeful of maintaining it for some time to come as he looks to build on their 15th place finish from last season. New signings Jelle Van Damme and Steven Mouyokolo should be available for selection after recovering from their injuries along with David Edwards.

Meanwhile Newcastle United will be high on confidence following their 6-0 thumping of Aston Villa last weekend. The Magpies put up a good display against Manchester United in their opening group game and followed it up with a brilliant performance against Villa.
