Blackpool are currently 16th in the league table, just two points above the drop zone and while Wigan Athletic face a difficult test against Manchester United, the Tangerines coach Ian Holloway will be aware that his side will have to beat Wolves this weekend to increase their chances of staying in the league for another year.

The Tangerines ended their five match losing streak with an excellent performance at home to Aston Villa. Gabriel Agbonlahor’s goal early in the 10th minute looked to have pushed Blackpool towards another defeat but the Tangerines immediately fought back and equalized through Elliot Grandin four minutes later.

Wolves on the other hand cemented their place at the foot of the table after managing just a single point against West Brom last weekend. Wolves looked to be heading towards a vital win after Jamie O'Hara broke the deadlock in the first half but loan signing Carlos Vela came off the bench to grab a dramatic equalizer in injury time.
