The Latics have bounced back from their poor start to the new season to collect six points from their last five games and climb up to 15th in the league table, three points above the relegation zone. The Trotters will be keen to repeat their comfortable victory over Wigan from the last meeting between the two sides though they have not won on their last three visits to the DW Stadium.
