West Brom manager Roy Hodgson will be hoping to maintain his unbeaten start to his reign at the Hawthorns with a positive result against a stuttering Chelsea side when the two teams clash on Saturday. Hodgson has had an excellent start since being appointed as the Baggies manager and has all but confirmed their participation in the league for at least another season after collecting 12 points from six games and pull them into the top half of the league table.

Meanwhile Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti will be aware that anything less than a victory over West Brom will end their slender hopes of overtaking Manchester United at the top of the table.

The Blues are 11 points behind the league leaders and while they do have a game in hand, dropped points on Saturday would put United far out of reach with just six games left.
