Arsenal face a difficult trip to West Brom in their next Premier League game with the players under severe pressure to perform after three crushing defeats in space of two weeks.

 

 

The Gunners first failed to end their six year wait for silverware after suffering a shock defeat to Birmingham City in the Carling Cup final. That was followed by a heavy 3-1 defeat away to Barcelona in the Champions League with Arsenal failing to hit the target even once throughout the game. Arsenal were then knocked out of the FA Cup with a second string Manchester United side securing a 2-0 victory last weekend.

Manager Arsene Wenger cut a disappointed figure after the defeat to Manchester United and admitted that his side is suffering from a loss of confidence. With just the Premier League now left to play for, Wenger will be aware that his side will have to bounce back quickly from the defeats and any dropped points this weekend could hand the initiative back to United in the title race.

West Brom on the other hand will be keen to take advantage of the low morale in the Arsenal camp and collect three vital points that could see them pull away from the relegation zone.
