The Vicarage Road Stadium in Watford will be hosting the Premier League encounter this weekend, between the Hornets and West Ham United. The match will be played on Saturday, with the kick off at 17:30 hours, local time.
After going through a sharp drop in form a few weeks ago, Watford seemed to have recuperated well and are back to their winning ways. They have lost just one match in their last five fixtures - a 2-0 defeat that came against Manchester United. But apart from that, their wins with a score of 2-1 against Arsenal and Burnley proved that they are still capable of reaching the top 10.
Interestingly, the Hammers are currently at the 10th position, with just two points ahead of the Hornets. Despite the departure of Dimitri Payet, they have been in a good form with Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio taking the team forward. Off lately, they have defeated Southampton by 3-1 and held Middlesbrough to a 2-2 draw.
When the two teams met in the London Stadium for the first leg, Watford ended up winning that match by 4-2. Even though the hosts are quite strong at home, West Ham United have currently got a good record as the visitors. This is surely going to be an intense game, which is likely to end in a draw.
West Ham United will travel to Watford to play their next game in the Premier League at the Vicarage Road. This game will kick off at 15:00 hours BST on 31st October, 2015.
Watford will find it difficult given the fact that they are going to face a highly pumped West Ham side. The Hammers have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Liverpool. Watford, in spite of this being a home game should be happy with a draw. They will have to defend deep with the hope to hit on the counter. This game will not be a simple one given that they are clearly weaker than their opposition.
With Andy Carroll managing the winner last weekend, we could expect him to get a starting berth in this game. Other than the prolific striker, the Hammers' midfield has also proven to be strong. Adrian will be hoping that his defence sit tight and he can come out with another clean sheet.
West Ham United are certainly in a better place given their players form and confidence. We can expect them to come out on top and win this game collecting the three points on offer by a couple of goals.
