Mancini was disappointed with his side’s display against Fulham last weekend as both the teams shared the points. Mario Balotelli scored his ninth goal of the season for City but the hosts struggled to stamp their authority over the game, allowing Fulham to equalize through Damien Duff to go home with a well deserved point.

Mancini criticized his strike force with Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzkeo all coming under fire for a below par performance. The City manager is expected to ring in the changes, claiming that he cannot field a three-man attack every game.

Wigan Athletic on the other hand will be hoping to improve on their performance against Manchester United. The Latics put in a very good performance in the first half but failed to last the full 90 minutes, allowing United to run away with the game in the final 20 minutes to seal a comfortable 4-0 win.

The defeat saw Wigan drop to the foot of the table and unless his side starts to put in consistent performance, manager Roberto Martinez will be aware that his side is destined for relegation this season.
