The Reds are slowly showing signs of recovery and have collected seven points from their last three games to climb to seventh in the league table. However he was quick to point out that he was not going to settle for a seventh placed finish and expressed his confidence that they could close down the gap to the fourth place as the season enters its final stage.

Meanwhile Stoke will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing performance last weekend that saw them come away from Craven Cottage empty handed after losing out 2-0 to Fulham. Clint Dempsey was twice on target as the Potters ended the game with just 10 men on the field.
