The Reds have been slowly recovering from their disastrous start that saw them slip into the relegation zone. Chelsea will be hoping to repeat their performance from the last season that saw them complete the double over Liverpool including a 2-0 victory in this fixture. The Blues will welcome back Frank Lampard with the midfielder expected to recover in time for the match this weekend.
