Liverpool will be keen on getting back to their winning ways this weekend, when they visit the 19th placed Hull City. The match will be played in the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool's form in the recent weeks has plummeted, owing to their big fixtures. While they managed to defeat Manchester City, they had to settle for 1-1 draw against Manchester United and Chelsea. The repercussions of this were severe, as it lead to an expected draw against Sunderland a shocking 3-2 defeat to Swansea City at home.
Nonetheless, they're still in the race as of now with 46 points at the fourth place. They need to defeat Hull City, with other sides lurking dangerously close to overtaking them. However, the Tigers will put up a massive fight, given that they held the Red Devils to a goalless draw at the Old Trafford.
They are a side which is known to put up a fight and give their oppositions a run for their money. Their draw against Everton came at KCOM, which shows just how daunting they can be at home. In fact, off lately, City has been the sole side to defeat the Tigers as visitors. This is going to be an interesting match to see, but the Reds should be able to win this one.
Hull City and Liverpool will go head to head in the game week 33 of Barclays Premier League, on Tuesday, April 28th. The match will be played in Kingston Communications Stadium in Hull city and will kick off at 19:45 hrs BST.
Liverpool are coming in this game from an unexpected draw to which they were held by the 13th place West Bromwich Albion last weekend. Regardless, they still haven’t lost their grip in the table and are sitting at 5th place. This was the third time this month that they haven’t been able to get the three points, with the other two coming in form of two defeats, at the hands of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Hull City on the other hand finally won their first match in weeks and climbed out of the relegation zone. They are sitting at 16th place, owing to a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend. This win was a much needed one, since they had already been defeated thrice in the past few weeks, at the hands of Chelsea, Swansea City and Southampton, and another defeat would push them further in the relegation zone.
For the upcoming match, while Liverpool appears to be the favorites to win, Hull City can definitely stun the visitors.
