The KCOM Stadium in Hull this weekend will be hosting the Premier League Fixture between Hull City and Burnley. The match will be played on Saturday afternoon, starting at 15:00 hours, local time.
The Tigers' prospects to escape the relegation appear to be slightly better at the moment. In their last five matches, they've gone without a point only on two occasions. Their recent feats include a 3-1 win to AFC Bournemouth, 2-0 win to Liverpool and a goalless draw against Manchester United. They are at the 18th place with 20 points and a win here will propel them out of the relegation zone.
As for Burnley, they are comfortably sitting at the 12th place, boasting a pretty stellar record at home. They last faced Chelsea, to whom they held to a 1-1 draw. However, they have failed, miserably, to repeat such antics as the visiting side. They have been beaten in their last seven away matches, while losing the last five of them with a margin of just a goal.
Combining this with the superb home record of Hull City, they are sure to be starting this game as the favourites. Expect heavy resistances from both the sides, but the hosts should be able to get the three points here.
Action from bottom half of Premier League is coming your way this weekend with Hull City and Burnley going head to head on Saturday, May 9th. The match will be played in Kingston Communications Stadium in Hull City and will kick off at 15:00 hrs BST.
Hull City are currently avoiding the relegation zone just by the skin of their teeth. Placed at 17th place with 34 points, they are coming in this match from a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal. Prior to that, they had won a couple of games against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, to boost their chances of playing in the next season.
The visitors on the other hand are sitting at the bottom of the table. With the score of 1-0, they have been defeated by four clubs consecutively – Arsenal, Everton, Leicester City and West Ham United. Their last victory came in March, against Manchester City with the very same score with which they have been defeated over the last few weeks.
Burnley are definitely going to relegated this season. Their form in the recent weeks has been a disastrous one and Hull City can certainly capitalize on this to get the victory.
