Hughes was the manager at City before he was replaced by Mancini last season and with the Italian coach under some serious pressure following a recent dip in form, Hughes will be keen to increase the pressure by collecting all three points on Sunday.

However a major concern for Hughes will be the form of his own side with Fulham managing to win just two of their 13 games so far this season and slide down to 14th in the league table. With Hughes claiming that a top half finish will be possible this season, the Fulham manager will be aware that his side will have to start putting up consistent performances if they are to avoid getting sucked into a relegation battle during the heavy Christmas schedule.

Manchester City on the other hand will be desperately searching for a victory with the Citizens winning just one of their last five games. Though City have managed to hold on to their place inside the top four, they are just three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur while Liverpool have shown signs of reviving their top four challenge.
