Mick McCarthy’s side have started their season in a perfect fashion after securing a comfortable 2-1 win over Stoke City last weekend. Two goals in two minutes from David Jones and Steven Fletcher helped them to a 2-0 lead in the first half and though the Potters managed to reduce the deficit through Abdoulaye Faye 10 minutes into the second half, Wolves hung on to claim vital three points from the game.

The Wolves manager will be hoping for more of the same this weekend having already collected two points against Everton last season. Wolves have not lost to the Toffees in their last three games though their last victory at Goodison Park came way back in 1979-80 season when they secured a thrilling 3-2 victory.

Everton on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing performance against Blackburn Rovers that saw them start the season with a defeat last weekend. An error from Tim Howard allowed Nikola Kalinic to grab the winner early in the game and manager David Moyes will be optimistic of a better performance from his side against Wolves.
