Having returned to form with three wins from four games, Stoke are once again experiencing a blip in form following back to back defeats against Bolton and Manchester United. However manager Tony Pulis will be pleased with his side’s performance against United last weekend as Stoke came very close to snatching a point against the title challengers.

United had taken a first half lead through Javier Hernandez but Stoke fought back in the second half and seemed to have done enough when Sanli Tuncay equalized with just nine minutes remaining only for Hernandez to grab a winner four minutes from the final whistle.

Everton on the other hand will be looking to continue their push towards the top half of the league table by extending their unbeaten run to five games this weekend. The Toffees are currently 11th in the league table and have collected eight points from their last four games.
