The Toffees have struggled for consistency throughout the season and while they have put in some excellent performances against Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, they have suffered disappointing defeats to West Brom, Stoke City and Bolton Wanderers.

Everton though go into the match against Fulham on the back of a decent run of form that has seen them collect seven points from their last three games to break into the top half of the table. While there are still nine games remaining in the season, Moyes will be optimistic that his side can maintain their recent form and pose a late challenge for a place in the Europa League next season.

Fulham on the other hand will be looking to extend their unbeaten run of form to six games and claim three vital points that will see them pull further away from the drop zone. The Cottagers are on course for fulfilling their manager’s expectation of a top half finish and currently sit 11th in the league table, just two points behind Everton.
