Everton will be hoping that Blackpool’s poor run of form continues when the two teams meet in their next Premier League game on Saturday. Watch all the live Premier League action here on Live Sport Network.

The Tangerines have lost five of their last six games and while they are still placed comfortably in the league table, manager Ian Holloway will be aware that his side will have to turn their form around quickly if they are to avoid falling into a relegation battle in the final third of the season.

Holloway will be pleased with his side’s efforts in their last league game with Blackpool coming very close to securing a shock win over Manchester United. A Charlie Adam inspired Blackpool side had raced to a two goal lead in the first half and though they managed to keep United at bay for more than an hour, a brace by Dimitar Berbatov and another by Javier Hernandez ensured that Holloway’s side would end the game empty handed.

Everton too are struggling to pull away from the relegation zone with a poor run of just one win from their last five games seeing the Toffees slip just five points away from the drop zone.

Though his side has a game in hand over their rivals, manager David Moyes will be aware that his side will have to show a consistent run of form if they are to have any hopes of making a push for a place in the top half of the league table.
