On the other hand, Arsenal have had a comparatively better season, who are now sitting at the fourth place. Most recently, they defeated Stoke City last weekend with 2 goals. However, with Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere sidelined for the considerably future, Arsene Wenger will have to rethink his strategies.
Both the clubs will be in action on Wednesday evening for their Champions League fixtures, but should sail to comfortable wins, seeing that their opponents are inferior to them.
Last season, Chelsea thrashed the Gunners 6-0 in the first half of season, and with 2-0 in the second half. In fact, the lads from Emirates have defeated Chelsea only once in the recent years, in the Community Shield last year with 1-0.

Arsene Wenger has a selection head ache as he has a few players out due to injury. Chelsea will look to increase their lead over Arsenal to nine points. And in order to do that Diego Costa will have to continue his scoring form. Cesc Fabregas who will take on his former employers in this game will definitely get a lot of stick from the travelling fans.
Aaron Ramsey is injured for Arsenal and his absence will make a hige difference to the starting line-up. The likes of Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere will have to set up for this game. New attacking option in the form of Danny Welbeck will want to put his name on the score sheet in such a big game.
These big games are tough to call and hence again it will be a safe to expect a draw.
