Leicester City will be keen on making amends for their recent lapses when they Burnley in the Turf Moor. The two sides will be meeting in the Premier League next week, the game week 23.
The Foxes have slipped down to the 15th place in the table, and are lurking dangerously close to the relegation zone. They are coming in this match after two back to back, heavy defeats against Chelsea and Southampton. Both those losses came with a score of 3-0, thus making matters far more worse for the visitors.
As for the Clarets, they are on the 13th place, owing to their stunning record at home. Apart from their couple of defeats against Manchester City and Arsenal, they have won all their other fixtures, which coincidentally, were played in Turf Moor.
The Foxes have gone without scoring a single goal in five of their last seven matches. Moreover, they have failed to win their last 13 matches as the visiting side - a tally which seems to increase with every game week that passes by. The Leicester City have the players needed to win, but their moral and confidence is certainly on down side. This is going to be an intense match, with Burnley looking to keeping their home form intact. This should end in a draw or a win for the hosts.
An intense match from the relegation zone in English Premier League is coming your way this weekend with bottom placed Burnley playing hosts to the 18th placed Leicester City, on Saturday April 25th. The match will be played in Turf Moor Stadium in the city and will kick off at 15:00 hrs BST.
The hosts, who defeated the fourth placed Manchester City with a humble 1-0 a few weeks back, have miserably failed to capitalize on their form. That was their second victory of the year and since then, they are yet to win a match in the league. They are coming in the game from two consecutive defeats, at the hands of Arsenal and Everton, scores being 1-0 in both the cases. Prior to that, they held Tottenham Hotspur to a goalless draw and also lost to Southampton with 2-0.
Leicester City on the other hand have stepped up their efforts to get out of the relegation zone. They are coming in the game, sailing high on confidence from their three consecutive victories, which came at the hands of West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City. In addition to this, they also held Hull City to a goalless draw a few weeks back.
For this match, I will have to go with Leicester City, owing to their terrific form and momentum in the recent weeks.
