The Hammers remain rooted to the foot of the league table and while they are just two points away from safety, they have played a game more than their nearest rivals. Meanwhile Blackpool manager Ian Holloway will be delighted with his side’s performance against Manchester United on Tuesday even though his side lost 3-2 in the end.

Goals from Craig Cathcart and DJ Campbell had given them a two goal lead by halftime but Dimitar Berbatov grabbed a brace while Javier Hernandez was also on target to complete another famous comeback by United.
