Blackburn will be hoping to maintain their recent good form by collecting three more points and break into the top half of the league table when they welcome West Brom in their next Premier League clash on Saturday. Rovers have collected six points from their last four games, including a comfortable 3-1 win over Liverpool, to pull well clear of the relegation zone and will be hoping to close down the gap for a Europa League spot by collecting all three points against West Brom this weekend.

Blackburn put up a decent performance against Chelsea last weekend, holding out against the title challengers for nearly an hour before Branislav Ivanovic broke the deadlock 12 minutes into the second half while Nicolas Anelka put the result beyond doubt by doubling the lead in the 76th minute.

West Brom on the other hand ended their five match losing streak with a thrilling win over Blackpool last weekend. Goals from Peter Odemwingie and James Morrison gave West Brom a 2-1 lead in the second half after David Vaughan had given Blackpool an early lead. Though Gary Taylor-Fletcher managed to equalize for the Tangerines, Odemwingie grabbed the winner with just three minutes remaining to hand West Brom its first points in six games.
