A Darren Bent goal early in the first half was enough for Villa to secure a shock victory with City struggling to create any real chances throughout the game. Manager Roberto Mancini was disappointed with his side’s performance and will be aware that unless then start becoming more creative upfront, they are going to struggle keeping up with Manchester United and Arsenal in the race for the league title.
