The Toffees are the only team without a league win after six rounds of the new season and with West Ham securing a shock win last weekend, David Moyes’ side have dropped down to the bottom of the league table.

While injuries to key players was the major cause for a poor start last season, Moyes has no such concerns this time around and will be a worried man indeed after seeing his side put up some disappointing performances so far.

Birmingham City too are going through a poor run of their own with Alex McLeish’s side managing to collect just three points from their last four games. The Blues’ solitary win this season came back in August against Blackburn and McLeish will be aware that his side will have to return to winning ways as soon as possible if they are to repeat their excellent top half finish from last season.

James McFadden is the only major injury concern for Birmingham who have Michel available with the midfielder recovering from a dead leg while Everton continue to be without Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell.
