Everton will be looking to register their first victory of the new season when they visit Aston Villa in their next Premier League game on Sunday. Watch all the live Premier League action here on Live Sport Network.

The Toffees started their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers and followed it up with another disappointing performance at home to Wolves last weekend. Everton dominated the possession against Mick McCarthy’s side and looked on course for a victory after taking the lead through Tim Cahill in the 43rd minute.

However the visitors fought back to equalize through Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and though both Cahill and Louis Saha had decent chances to break the deadlock, the Toffees had to settle for a point. Manager David Moyes admitted that the draw was a fair result for both the sides adding that his side did not pose enough of an attacking threat to warrant all three points.

Moyes will be optimistic that his side can finally register their first win against an Aston Villa side that will still be reeling under their heavy defeat to Newcastle United last weekend. Villa sorely missed the influence of James Milner in the midfield as Newcastle ran riot with Andy Carroll scoring a hat trick while Kevin Nolan also scored two goals enroute to a comfortable 6-0 victory.

Curtis Davies remains a doubt for Villa with the defender yet to recover from his knee injury though Gabriel Agbonlahor and Carlos Cuellar should be available for selection.
