Newly appointed Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier will be hopeful that he can finally attend his side’s Premier League clash against Bolton Wanderers this weekend. Watch all the live Premier League action here on Live Sport Network.

The Frenchman was unable to take charge of the club for their match against Stoke City last weekend since he had to attend a series of meetings in order to tie off some loose ends with the French Football Federation before he takes charge at Villa. Gerard Houllier will also be unable to be in the dugout during the game against Bolton though the former Liverpool manager said that he hopes to be in the stands to watch the game.

Villa fans will be hopeful that Houllier will be able to take charge of the club as soon as possible and his appointment will prove to be an inspired one as the club looks to build on a decent start to the new season that has seen them collect six points from their opening four games.

Bolton on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Arsenal last weekend. The Trotters were reduced to 10 men midway through the second half with Gary Cahill receiving his marching orders though Arsenal had wrapped up the game by then after taking a two goal lead.
