The Gunners closed down the gap at the top of the table to two points with a comfortable win over West Ham. Robin van Persie grabbed a brace while Theo Walcott was also on target as Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 win and should have had won by a bigger margin.

Wigan had secured a credible draw at home to Arsenal early in the season and Martinez will be optimistic that they can repeat the performance this time around.
