Sevilla had a narrow win against bottom place Almeria in their last outing. They are going through a patch of inconsistent form after a recent loss to struggling Getafe. Sevilla currently sit 5^th in the league table but with an 8 point gap between themselves and Villarreal this is about as good as it gets for this season at least.

Real Madrid are 8 points adrift of Barcelona but will be playing for pride in the closing stages of the season. They trashed Valencia 6-3 in recent weeks but then succumbed to lowly Real Zaragoza infront of a home crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Jose Mourinho will be frustrated with recent form which has seen them lose out on all fronts since their Copa Del Rey win. Pepe and Ramos will be likely to return after serving their suspension in the Champions League.
