Real Madrid sit 2^nd in the La Liga table behind archrivals Barcelona. Jose Mourinho’s side were unceremoniously dumped out of the Champions League by Barca. Real Madrid overcame Barca to win the Spanish Copa Del Rey but that will be the only silverware they can lay their hands to this season.

Getafe sit 18^th in the league table and with poor away form will struggle at the Santiago Bernabeu. It has been a disappointing season for Getafe and they currently sit 1 point from safety. The entire bottom half of the table could be dragged into the relegation battle but Getafe will need to assemble points in their upcoming games to secure survival.
