The US coach Bob Bradley has picked 16 players who featured in last year’s World Cup for this game. While his squad of 24 does include some new names, the core group remains the same with four premier league players due to feature in the game.

Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley and Jermaine Jones are due to take their place in the squad. Stuart Holden was due to line-up as well, but his injury means he misses out on this game.

Meanwhile Argentina coach Sergio Batista has called up a new-look squad for this game. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero miss out. Tevez is injured, but he was omitted from the squad even before he picked up the injury. There are several new players in the squad including goalkeeper Adrian Gabbarini, Federico Fazio, Fernando Belluschi and Eduardo Salvio.
