Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the national squad for the first time in more than a year when Sweden takes on Scotland in a friendly game on Wednesday. Catch all the live football feeds from that game by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Ibrahimovic had announced that he was retiring from international football after a disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign that saw Sweden fail to qualify for the tournament. However one of the first tasks of coach Erik Hamren was to persuade Ibrahimovic to make himself available for the national squad and 53-year old expressed his delight that he was finally able to get him change his mind.

Scotland too will be welcoming another player who was unavailable for the national team with Allan McGregor being named in the squad after seeing his life ban overturned. McGregor was banned by George Burley for his part in the “Boozegate” saga but new coach Craig Levein managed to overturn the ban though he did not choose him for his first squad.

However with first choice keeper Craig Gordon out of action with an arm injury, Levein had no choice but to recall McGregor to the squad and is expected to start the Rangers player against Sweden.
