Ireland have struggled for form in their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign and after putting up a strong fight in their World Cup qualifiers, Worthington’s side have managed just one win from their opening three games though they are the only other side apart from Italy to remain unbeaten in their group.

With his side set to play vital games against Serbia and Slovenia in their next two games, Worthington will be hoping to quickly identify who will be leading the line for his side with record scorer David Healy out of form after struggling to score for the national side for nearly two years.

Healy has been dropped from the squad to face Morocco with Worthington looking to test out Kyle Lafferty, Warren Feeney and Rory Patterson. George McCartney has been recalled to the squad while 18-year old Johnny Gorman manages to hold on to his place.
