Manchester United duo Jonny and Corry Evans have been named in the squad along with club mate Oliver Norwood. Wolves’ Jonny Gorman retains his place in the squad in spite of displaying an average form in the Premier League last season.

Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson was in line to make his debut for the national squad but an injury forced the youngster to withdraw from the squad with Worthington calling up Linfield's Alan Blayney as a replacement.

Ipswich Town’s Gareth McAuley has also been named in the squad. However Worthington will be without George McCartney who is out injured. David Healy will be hoping to win his 81st cap for his country and will be fighting for a place in the starting lineup.
