Mexico welcome Venezuela in a friendly game on Wednesday with the hosts facing a mini revolt following the disciplinary proceedings taken by the Football Federation following a party last month. Catch all the live football feeds from the match by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Interim coach Efrain Flores has put his foot down by naming the 11 players who had asked not to be considered for the national team following disciplinary proceedings though Carlos Vela and Efrain Juarez, who have been suspended for six months, were not called up.

Mexico national team director Nestor De La Torre handed the punishment to the players after reports of a breach of discipline during a party held soon after the friendly match against Colombia last month.  Eleven players including captain Rafael Marquez, Javier Hernandez, Giovani Dos Santos and Guillermo Ochoa were handed fines of $3,900 while Vela and Juarez were suspended for six months and it is not yet certain whether the players will be reporting to the national squad for the friendly game.

Meanwhile Venezuela coach César Farías will be hoping to avoid another defeat against Mexico with his side losing all of the seven meetings between the two sides.
