Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez will be hoping that there will not be any late slipups from his side as they chase their first ever Club World Cup trophy when they take on TP Mazembe in the final on Saturday. Rafa Benitez was under severe pressure going into the tournament following the poor start to the season by Inter. Club Massimo Moratti admitted that Benitez’s job was under threat prior to the tournament but Inter’s comfortable 3-0 win over South Korean side Seongnam Ilhwa in the semi finals provided some breathing space for the Spanish coach.

However with Moratti demanding a successful campaign in Abu Dhabi, Benitez will be aware that a shock defeat in the final could mean an end to his reign at San Siro just six months after taking over the job.

Stellar names have fallen short in the competition previously with Real Madrid not even making to the final while Barcelona and a Benitez managed Liverpool have failed to clear the final hurdle.
