England travel to Berlin to take on Germany in an international friendly at the Olympic Stadium minus some of their biggest names. Watch all the live streaming football here on Live Sport Network.
England boss Fabio Capello has overseen a successful campaign in the World Cup qualifiers so far and this friendly affords him a chance to test out some of the fringe players in the English game.
Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand are out with calf, leg and back injuries respectively, while skipper John Terry is also a doubtful starter. Joe Hart is out with an ankle injury that has prompted Capello to recall the out of favor Paul Robinson.
Capello has expressed a wish to test out other goalkeepers because he feels they are getting too reliant on David James. Michael Mancienne has been called up as cover for the defenders, while Darren Bent has returned to the squad following a string of impressive performances in a Spurs shirt.
Gabriel Agbonlahor is expected to be called on the pitch sometime during the game and he will be provided ample chance to showcase his wares as Capello widens the net in search for players that can take England to the 2010 World Cup.
Meanwhile Germany coach Joachim Loew has left out Torsten Frings from the squad to face England. Loew is also having injury worries with Michael Ballack, Philipp Lahm, Clemens Fritz, Marcell Jansen and Christian Pander out from this game. Loew has called up Marvin Compper, Tobias Weis and Marcel Schaefer for the first time for this friendly game.
