Wolves had secured a narrow 2-1 win at the Molineux back in August and manager Tony Pulis will be out to gain revenge and extend their FA Cup run to the fifth round. The Potters struggled against Cardiff City in the third round with the game at the Britannia Stadium ending in a 1-1 draw while both the teams failed to break the deadlock in the replay. A brace from Jonathan Walters in extra time helped Stoke finally book their place in the fourth round.

Wolves on the other hand had a far more comfortable outing against Doncaster Rovers. Though the game at Keepmoat Stadium finished 2-2, Wolves were completely dominant in the replay, thrashing Doncaster 5-0 to cruise to a comfortable victory.

Both the teams have met in the FA Cup six times with Wolves maintaining a 100 percent record against the Potters. However their recent record against Stoke shows that there is not much to choose between the two sides who have won one game apiece in their last six games.
