However Leicester fought back and were the better team in the second half though they needed a howler by Joe Hart to equalize through Andy King midway through the second half.

Eriksson expressed his happiness over his side’s display and said that he was optimistic of returning from the City of Manchester Stadium with a shock win under his belt. Mancini on the other hand was disappointed with his side’s display and claimed they will have to show a great improvement if they are to end this season with any silverware.
