Both the goals last week in Kiev came in the first half. Andriy Yarmolenko put Dynamo ahead in the sixth minute when he headed in Oleh Gusev’s cross past opposition keeper Artur. However Gusev unwittingly put the ball into his own net seven minutes later, thus bringing the tie back on level terms.

Former Chelsea and AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko was sent off shortly after the hour mark and is therefore suspended for Dynamo’s trip to Portugal. However Dynamo did create the better chances in the first leg and will be hopeful of making it to the last four even without their talismanic forward.
