Odense beat Bosnian side Zrinjski in the third qualifying round. The Danish outfit triumphed 5-3 in the first leg at Tre-For Park and sealed progress to the playoff rounds by drawing 0-0 in the return leg.

Odense have two former Manchester United players in their ranks- Northern Irish goalkeeper Roy Carroll and Senegalese midfielder Eric Djemba Djemba. Carroll also spent a year at Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, but never featured for the Ibrox outfit against Motherwell.

Motherwell beat Aalesunds 4-1 over two legs in the third qualifying round. The Steelmen drew the first leg 1-1 in Norway, but were quick off the blocks at home as goals from Jamie Murphy and John Sutton put them 2-0 ahead. Substitute Jonathan Page added another goal in the second half as Craig Brown’s men ran out 3-0 winners at Fir Park.
