Juventus started off positively in Austria and were rewarded for their efforts when Leonardo Bonucci headed home from a Diego corner in the 16^th minute of the game. Diego and Amauri were looking threatening together but Juve lacked the finishing touch to add to their opening goal.

As Juventus retreated, Graz’s attacks started increasing in intent and the home side equalised eight minutes from time through Gordon Schildenfeld, who took advantage of some sloppy Juventus defending to head in Haris Bukva’s free kick past Storari.

Amauri, whose finishing in the game had let Juve down on several occasions, however had the last laugh as he netted the winner in the first minute of second half extra time. While the Bianconeri were not exactly convincing in Austria, they will certainly start as favourites on Thursday in Turin.
