Besiktas beat Rapid Vienna 2-1 on Match Day 2 to claim their first win over the Austrian outfit in four attempts. Veli Kavlak opened the scoring for Rapid in the 51^st minute, but Besiktas were back on level terms when Filip Holosko netted four minutes later.

Holosko latched on to Fabian Ernst’s long pass to slot home in the 55^th minute and the sell out home crowd at the Ernst Happel Stadium were silenced when Brazilian striker Bobo put Besiktas ahead in the 64^th minute. Bobo’s goal was created by compatriot Rodrigo Tabata.

Porto beat CSKA 1-0 in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia to pick up their second win in Group L. Colombian striker Radamel Falcao scored the only goal of the game in the 16^th minute after being set up by Hulk.
