Russia takes on Slovakia on Tuesday in what could prove to be a vital game for both the sides in their quest to gain the automatic qualifying spot to the Euro 2012 finals. You can watch all the live Euro 2012 qualifying football by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Dick Advocaat’s side know that they will have to win all of their home games during the qualifying campaign of they are to have any hopes of avoiding missing a second successive major international tournament after failing to qualify to the World Cup early this summer.

Slovakia on the other hand will be looking to build on their excellent World Cup campaign that saw them qualify out of the group stage only to lose out against Netherlands. Slovakia have a decent record against Russia, winning one and losing one of the five meetings between the two sides.

Russia will be without Igor Denisov who is out injured while there are fitness concerns over Vladimir Bystrov and Aleksandr Anyukov. Slovakia will be without Stanislav Sestak who was their top scorer at the World Cup while Robert Vittek is yet to recover from his injury.
